The full name of the band is "The Phat Luv Participatory Orchestra". We are an organic, Oakland based band that has played on the streets in downtown Oakland for the past three (3) years. For the past two years we played at the corner of Broadway and Grand, but without a permit. Recently, the police requested that we become official. We are "Participatory" in that we encourage people to experience their creativity by joining us, by singing or playing an instrument. And they do, and everyone enjoys it!
